Alpha-cat Certified Mobile Lab Affiliation
A healthy enterprise is the result of a series of steps that allow for a complete educational process for individuals, who, in accordance with their innate right to pursue freedom and happiness in life, must have all necessary instruments in order to choose what best fulfills their needs for their pursuit of a quality life.
Herbal cannabinoid consumers suffer from a lack of transparency regarding the derivation of products available at caregiver facilities, whether in physical shops or on the internet. Because the herbal cannabinoid sector is not fully regulated, Alpha-cat Lab has developed an accessible cannabinoid quality control approach.
The Alpha-cat approach utilizes High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography to detect and estimate the presence and dosage of the six main neutral cannabinoids (e.g., CBD, CBN, THC, THCV, CBG, and CBC) along with their acids form.
Our Mobile Lab offers the possibility to analyse the production process of cannabinoids present in your plants at various time points throughout the plants’ lifecycle. To guarantee your company’s success during every step of the production process, each Alpha-cat Mobile Lab purchase is accompanied by a comprehensive educational program based on quality control measures to certify high-grade cannabinoid products.

High Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) is a state of the art technique used to assess identity & quality of botanicals and various ingredients. It often times is able to detect adulterants and contamination including incorrect plant parts, closely related species and unknowns. This technique is applicable to crude raw botanicals from powdered to whole form, extract (powdered or liquid) and finished product/blends and is a preferred technique worldwide.
Microscopy is one of the oldest and most effective techniques used to evaluate the identity and quality of botanicals. It is often able to detect adulteration and contamination including fillers, plant extracts, and incongruous parts. Cannabinoid fingerprinting by the Alpha-cat HPTLC method is a technique used to evaluate the quality and identity of cannabis strains by elucidating their various cannabinoid components to give the consumer an idea of what effects to expect from their medicine. The Alpha-cat chromatographic fingerprints provide a unique way to manage information and to classify batches of material during production. Ultimately, through additional cannabinoid fingerprint contributions to our 2000+ strain database, we will all have a better understanding and more accurate reflection of the true number of cannabis chemotypes available to consumers.

In order ensure correct product traceability, each batch of plants is subject to being committed to record, to which remains bound. The plants are analyzed extensively by the standards of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (i.e., the Monograph for which contains over 200 plants), or according to internal standards for those plants which do not having a monograph in the Pharmacopoeia.
Among others, the following checks are performed:
- Determination of the active ingredients or markers for variety identification
- Determination of heavy metals
- Detection of fungus and bacteria
- Pesticide concentration
Every cannabinoid herbalist institution must meet the requirements of this title as defined by the monograph of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia; in order to produce, prepare, or distribute their herbal product safely.
Each plant package includes a batch number and within it, the sealed results of analysis. Packages which do not comply with these parameters should be quarantined and kept from distribution.
Contaminated botanicals are frequently found in the current markets, leading to consumers to risk to their health in order to medicate. You have the right to quality, so insist on the highest quality and control measures for your pharmaceutical medicinal plants!
